Description

Receiver wires become worn after time. Depending on the amount of time that you spend wearing your hearing aid, changing your receiver wire regularly can be a fantastic investment.

Receivers last between 6-12 months on average depending on use. They may last for a shorter period if you take them out and place them back in each day.

If your audio quality begins to reduce, it is highly recommended that you change your wax filters and replace your receiver wire.

Compatibility:

These SureFit 2 C receivers are only compatible with the GN ReSound ENYA, LiNX², Linx3D, LiNX Quattro & Key hearing aids.

How to change your GN Resound receivers

The video below aptly demonstrates how to change your GN ReSound receiver:

Sport Locks for your receivers: (Sold Separately)

These are thin flexible plastic attachments which slide onto the receiver to help achieve a snug fit inside your ear area. If you’re very active these help to reduce your hearing aid from moving during use.

Choose the same power of sports lock as receiver wire, for example, High Power (HP) locks for a High Power receiver.

To insert a hearing aid with a sports lock:

  1. Insert the hearing aid as usual
  2. Tuck the sports lock into the bottom of the concha (the part of your ear just outside the ear canal)
