Charging:
The Phonak Roger Pass Around Mic is powered by a rechargeable battery, providing approximately 10 hours of operating time from a full charge. It is charged via a micro-USB connector and a full charge is achieved in about 2 hours.
How to use:
Easy and simple to use, the Roger Pass Around Mic is ready to use once connected. The student just needs to speak into it in order to be heard. The device can be used in several ways:
- Handheld: The speaker holds the mic near their mouth when speaking. The indicator light shines green upon picking up their voice
- In the stand: The Roger Pass Around Mic can be placed on the desk in front of the speakers in its sturdy, yet lightweight stand
- Laid on the table: Upon being placed on a flat surface, the mic will automatically mute (indicated by its light blinking red) in order to avoid broadcasting unnecessary sound
Compatibility:
Please note that this device is designed to be used in conjunction with the Roger Touchscreen Mic Transmitter and Roger X Receivers (both sold separately).
Normally worn around the neck, the Roger Touchscreen Mic Transmitter can also be placed on a table or pointed towards the speaker, boosting speech understanding and activity engagement.
The Pass Around Mic can be handed from one student to another, allowing the student wearing Roger X Receivers to not only hear the teacher, but also classmates’ voices.
