Description
Over time, hearing aid tubing can become damaged, stiff, and yellow so it is important to replace them semi-regularly. A quick way to check if your tubing needs changing is to gently squeeze it. If it goes back to its normal shape then the tube is still fine, however, if it remains in the bent shape, it needs to be changed as it is essential for sound quality to maintain an effortless flow of sound from the hearing aid to your ear.
The thin tubes must always be clean and transparent to preserve the high sound quality of your Resound hearing aid. ReSound Surefit Thin Tubes are thin tubes for the Linx, Enya, and Enzo models and are available in various lengths. This will have been prescribed by your audiologist at the time of fitting.
(ReSound Surefit thintubes with 2 ranges of insertion depth A & B were discontinued in December 2024 and replaced by Surefit 2C.)
How to use:
Thin tubes do not require any tools for changing – they simple screw on and off. It is recommended to change the tubes at least every 3 months.
