Phonak Naida L-SP hearing aids are behind-the-ear (BTE) models designed for mild to severe hearing loss. Cleaning and maintaining them regularly can help your aids continue to function optimally:
SlimTubes and Domes
- Detach the slim tube from the hearing aid and run a cleaning wire through it to remove debris.
- Remove the dome and clean it with a specialised hearing aid cleaning cup and tablet or hearing aid cleaning wipes. Allow it to dry thoroughly before reattaching.
Ear Hook and Ear Mould
- For ear mould users, clean the ear mould using a specialised cleaning cup and cleaning tablet. Dry it completely before reattaching it to the ear hook.
- Clean the ear hook itself using a soft cloth to remove dirt or oils.
Hearing Aid Body
- Use a specialised cleaning wipe to gently clean the body of the hearing aid, avoiding water or household cleaning products.
Storage
