Description
The Widex Sound Assist is a versatile listening accessory created to help you stay connected in a wide range of everyday situations. Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, it pairs with compatible Widex hearing aids to improve clarity in conversations, meetings, discussions and phone calls without adding complexity to your routine.
Whether you are enjoying a family meal, speaking one-to-one with a friend, joining a work meeting or taking a call while out and about, Sound Assist helps bring important sounds directly to your hearing aids. It also functions as Bluetooth streamer and remote control, making it practical all-in-one accessory for daily use.
Benefits & Listening Modes
The Widex Sound Assist offers several intelligent modes designed to support different listening environments:
- Partner Microphone Mode – Ideal for one-to-one conversations. When worn by a single speaker, Sound Assist streams their voice directly to your hearing aids for clearer, more natural speech.
- Table Microphone Mode – Perfect for meetings, group conversations and family dinners. Place the device on a table and it will automatically pick up voices around it. You can also lock the listening direction to focus on one speaker.
- Hands-Free Phone Calls – Make and receive calls with confidence. The built-in microphone captures your voice clearly, while calls stream straight to your hearing aids.
- Bluetooth Audio Streaming – Stream music, films and audio from any Bluetooth-enabled device directly to your hearing aids.
- Remote Control for Widex MOMENT Hearing Aids – Adjust volume levels and change programmes easily without needing your phone.
- Telecoil Mode – Provides telecoil functionality even if your hearing aids do not include a built-in telecoil.
