Phonak Audeo P-RT are devices that are receiver-in-canal (RIC), so they deliver best sound directly into the ears. This makes them more vulnerable to earwax and debris. So, to ensure the device’s longevity and best performance regularly clean and keep them in good condition.
Receiver and Domes:
- Remove the dome from the receiver, if it is detachable, then soak them in for half an hour in a special cleaning cup with two-thirds full of warm water.
- Later, rinse them well and let it dry fully and replace the dome.
- To remove dirt from the wax guards and sound exit, use a soft brush or wax pick.
Hearing Aid Body
- Hearing aids have specifically cleaning wipes to clean the main body.
