Phonak Audeo P-13T hearing aids are RIC models featuring receivers that sit directly inside the canal. Due to this placement, they can be prone to buildup of earwax and debris. So, to keep their best performance and reliability routine cleaning and proper maintenance are essential.
Receiver and Domes:
- Remove the dome from the receiver, if it is detachable, then soak them in for half an hour in a special cleaning up with two-thirds full of warm water.
- Later, rinse them well and let it dry fully and replace the dome.
- To remove dirt from the wax guards and sound exit, use a soft brush or wax pick.
Hearing Aid Body
- Hearing aids have specifically cleaning wipes to clean the main body.
- Do not use household cleaners on your hearing aids device.
Storage
- When not in use, place your hearing aids in dry and cool case.
- For extra protection, use a drying box or dehumidifier to remove moisture and increase the lifespan of your device.
