Charging Your Hearing Aids:
Phonak Audeo I-R hearing aids are receiver-in-canal (RIC) models, which means the receiver sits directly inside the ear canal. This design makes them prone to earwax and debris buildup, so regular cleaning is essential to maintain optimal performance.
Receiver and Domes:
- Detach the dome from the receiver (if removable).
- Use a specialised cleaning cup filled two-thirds with warm water to soak the dome for 30 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly, dry completely, and reattach the dome.
- Use a soft brush or wax pick to clear debris from the sound outlet and wax guards.
